Doug was born in Kansas City, MO, has lived in Omaha, Nebraska, Oklahoma City, and Springfield, MO. He spent his summers on Lake of the Ozarks and Table Rock, then moved to Greensboro, NC in 1972, Richmond, VA in 1974, and Hampton, VA in 1990. He currently lives on the Outer Banks of N C. His boating started at 8 years old with a row boat and has since then owned all kinds, including a 41 Viking and 47 Davis. Doug now has his 100 ton U.S.C.G. Masters license. He has 35 years of boating experience. He was in the electronic hardware business for 30 years and retired to sell boats for Bluewater! He is a partner in Bishop Tackle and enjoys both offshore and inshore fishing.
Doug believes that we/he can take care of anything a customer requires in the marine sector. He makes every effort to close the deal by making sure the customer has complete satisfaction. His experience and knowledge of buying, operating, and maintaining boats gives him the ability to be in the customer’s shoes.
