Innovation and new technical processes, such as the proven resin-infusion technique, have improved the GT Series performance by slashing weight from the hull - producing a more uniform structure with a superior glass-to-resin ratio that also makes for a stronger structure and more precise fit of bulkheads and stringers.  To simplify operation and further reduce weight, the GT series features a single integral fuel tank that's built to ABS specifications. Mounted down the centerline, it makes for better performance since the longitudinal center of gravity moves aft as the boat burns fuel.
 The cockpit in each model is designed for relaxation, with comfortable mezzanines that provide additional storage and freezer capacity, along with ample tackle storage. Great strides have also been made with the interior now offering 270-degree visibility in the salon and galley. The galley arrangements incorporate island counters providing room to work and a much larger feeling of spaciousness. The on-trend interior cabinetry and custom designed furniture package will make you want this boat even more.
 The redesigned GT60 makes its official debut at the Fort Lauderdale Show this October. And the GT54 and GT63 make their debuts at the Miami Show in February, 2011. The first five boats sold come with a package deal that is created just for those customers who have the ability to act now.

CABO Relocating to New Bern, NC
Friday August 6th, Jarrett Bay staff and select CABO owners were among those in attendance at the Hatteras factory for the formal announcement of CABO Yachts' move to the New Bern plant.  Guest speaker North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue, Hatteras president Jim Meyer, and other local leaders were in attendance to welcome CABO to North Carolina. The consolidation is expected to bring 350 jobs and several million dollars in investments to the area. Visitors were also given a tour of the first CABO model scheduled to roll off the New Bern assembly line - the 44' Hardtop Express - to debut at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show in October. |
