When Regulator Marine introduces a new model, they do so based on demand—not simply going off a hunch that buyers will be interested in the new product. The innovations unveiled throughout the history of Regulator’s model line-up have been informed by many conversations between Regulator and their customers and dealers. “Regulator is always listening and considering input, and that is how each model is shaped and born,” explains Bluewater Sales Professional Scott James. Regulator Marine’s latest new release, and now flagship of the XO (inshoreoffshore crossover) line, was unveiled to the world at the 2023 Miami International Boat Show. The 30XO was announced only three weeks prior to this international debut. It would seem Regulator is just as good at keeping a secret as they are at building premium center console boats! If it’s not readily obvious, the XO series is designed for double duty—provide the rock-solid offshore ride that Regulator has always been known for, plus be capable of switching gears and targeting inshore, backwater fisheries. The new 30XO is not simply a supersized 26XO, themodel that kicked-off this hybrid series four years ago. The 30XO boasts a 15° deadrise and draws only 21 inches with her twin Yamaha 300 horsepower engines up. However, at almost 10,000 pounds and a 10-foot, 2-inch beam, this boat is every bit a Regulator: built strong, built to last, and ready for offshore duty. “This model has brought several new groundbreaking features while staying true to Regulator’s superb engineering. “This includes a full gelcoat finish and LED lighting in all storage lockers and bilge areas,” James says. This boat is loadedwith thoughtful features including an optional second livewell in place of the standard storage box.
