General Description
The 44 Viking Aft Cabin Motoryacht was designed to be a fast, comfortable cruising boat with the seakeeping capabilities of the famous Viking sportfishing yachts. With the highly desirable double hardtop this particular 44 stands very tall with low hours since majors. Happily Ours has numerous upgrades especially on its factory custom cabinetry and woodwork.
The Interior layout features a very comfortable salon area with galley and dinette down.(Note that the galley is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer.)Forward Is a guest stateroom with an Island double berth, head and stall shower. The master stateroom is aft with an Island marine queen and private en-suite head.
Topsides, there is an enclosed aft deck with wet bar, a comfortable bridge deck with fiberglass hardtop and a large open bow area with built-In fiberglass bench seat with storage. From the bridge to the bilge, the condition of this boat is outstanding.
Accommodations
The aft deck features custom factory woodwork that is not seen on most of these 44 Vikings including a teak bottle storage cabinet with refrigerator and ice maker and beautiful teak cabin doors. Access to the side decks and bow is easy through solid wing doors that also lend protection to the aft deck while underway. Up a few steps and forward is the flybridge with its own hardtop and full enclosure with dual helm chairs and two benches giving plenty of room for guests to join the captain while underway.
Moving into the cabin one instantly will notice the beautiful teak cabinetry and woodwork, roomy salon with plenty of natural light, a full galley and dinette forward and two private staterooms and heads. The salon has a L-shaped settee and barrel chair as well as a wetbar cabinet and glass table. Just forward is the galley with Amtico flooring, large galley appliances and a dinette to port that is a great place to enjoy a meal, play cards or break out the laptop to get some work done. In the bow is the guest stateroom with centerline double berth, abundant drawer and hanging locker storage and private entry into the guest/day head featuring a stall shower.
Aft of the salon and offering privacy from the guest stateroom is the master with a full walk around queen berth, dresser storage on both port and starboard sides, double hanging lockers and its own head with stall shower.
