The 50 Eastbay Sedan and Flybridge model will be powered by either Volvo IPS or conventional drives.
The 50 will be built off of the proven C.R. Hunt hull design, but with fresh new styling. Grand Banks is dedicated to offering the 50 with as many big boat features as possible to include side bulwark doors, integrated foredeck sun pad, retractable cockpit awning/shade, side helm door, sunroof for the SX version and an optional hydraulic swim platform.
With pod drive propulsion, joystick handling, inspired layout options and many more enhancements, the 50 Eastbay holds a long list of innovations and advancements. With an estimated top speed of 35 knots and an optional flybridge version, the 50 Eastbay is what you might expect from Grand Banks.
The expansive cockpit features a wide-open main deck. A six-panel door across the aft bulkhead slides easily out of the way to make one spectacular living space of the salon and cockpit area. Standard equipment includes teak decking and built-in seating along the transom plus a hand-crafted teak table for dining. A nice feature, which will provide protection from the elements, is a retractable sunshade. With the push of a button you can extend or retract a beautiful, sturdy Sunbrella canvas awning over the cockpit.
Forward, on the bow deck is a nice sunpad for lounging. And for easy cruising and handling of lines, a pantograph door provides easy access to the starboard side deck.
